Leagrave to LTN — Closer Than You Think, Trickier Than It Looks
Leagrave sits at the northern edge of Luton, and LTN is barely 4 miles southeast. On paper, that sounds like a 10-minute run. In practice, the A6 between Leagrave and Luton town centre is one of the most congested roads in Bedfordshire during the morning peak — and if you’re catching a 6am Ryanair you’ll hit that traffic head-on. We know the cut-throughs. Sundon Road, Beechwood Road, the back way past the cemetery. We won’t sit in the queue on Leagrave Road when there’s a better option.
We also cover Marsh Farm, Limbury, Sundon Park, and the streets around Leagrave station as standard. If you’re near the station on Sundon Road and wondering whether to get the shuttle bus to LTN Parkway — don’t. The taxi is more direct, costs about the same as a day return rail fare, and takes you to the actual terminal, not a station a shuttle away.

Often yes. Leagrave to LTN Parkway station takes 6 minutes by train — but then you wait for the shuttle bus, transfer to the terminal, queue for your boarding pass. Door to Departures by taxi is quicker and you control the timing.
What time should I book for an early Ryanair departure?
